Outrage

I watch events unfold about our world and see the anger directed towards anyone that does not think the exactly the same as everyone else, and I am outraged. Those with a critical mind and take everything given to them with a grain of salt, are accused of being anti-American and pro-terrorists. The very notion of disagreeing with what our government tells us is a concept that is very much American. But, what makes you think that out of all the countries that you were born in that this one is the one that is the best we can have. We are citizens of the world, and the earth is all we have.

"The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who is able to think things out for himself... Almost inevitably, he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, and intolerable. "~H.L. Mencken

Thus I have come to loathe the government that tells me I must, and I can't.We have no need for a paternal government, because we can and will take care of ourselves. There are people that will say "Look at society today with crime the way it is, how can we hope for no government?" To me that proves that the government is ineffective at solving anything, all they can figure out is how to gain the most money for themselves. Sure some politicians fight for the rights of the people. But again, who are they fighting against? The older brother, and father figure that believes that it is the one that has to take us by the hand and lead us out of danger. The concept of ruling over each other is outdated, we have grown up.
